With so much to explore within the Barrington Tops region, there are many tours available to ensure that visitors can see it all. There are various bushwalking tours that you can participate in for those who feel physically fit, extending from short, easy walks to steep, overnight treks.

Other tours for those who wish to take a different way of enjoying stunning scenery could try horseback trails or the comfort of a luxury 4WD. Whatever exciting tour you decide upon, it will be a real Australian bush and wilderness adventure.

Explore the lower reaches of the reserve – Williams river and Jerusalem Creek and take time to explore the beautiful crystal clear Williams River near the picnic area north-west of Dungog.

Bushwalkers who enjoy a challenging walk can climb Carey’s Peak (access via Williams Top Road) to take in the awe-inspiring views including the white sands of Stockton Beach. Follow the road further on and explore Burraga Swamp,. Via the Allyn River Road.

Chichester Dam Road from Dungog leads to Jerusalem Creek boasting beautiful rock pools where you can swim in or enjoy a walk through the rainforest.

Gloucester river is the perfect camping spot in summer with a number of short ½ hour walke close by which provides a variety of vegetation.

For the experienced hiker there are a number of walks throughout the park including overnight walking. From Polblue, a picturesque sub-alpine woodland on the Barrington Tops Forest Drive, north east of the park, take a two day walk through to Wombat Creek for an overnight camp and continue on to Gloucester Tops on the second day.
