StroudThe pleasant town of Stroud is full of beautiful historic buildings and happens to be home to one of the largest displays of convict constructions in Australia. Stroud was established in 1826 when it was included in a land grant of almost a million acres to the Australian Agricultural Company.
The Stroud region is approximately 219km north of Sydney and 75km north-east of Newcastle. Stroud was first established in 1826 and its main feature is the ‘Silo-Hill’, a hill with eight underground wheat silos. What to do in Stroud:
